Development vision and goals

Agriculture - Irrigation

Erumapetty Grama Panchayat has given priority to projects with emphasis on agriculture and infrastructure development. The lack of water availability has affected the agriculture sector and infrastructure of the Erulapetty grama panchayat. The solution to this is that we have to protect our water resources by building various barriers. Precaution needs to be taken. Therefore, we can work to identify other sources of resources and take steps to promote agriculture. It is today's need to promote organic vegetable farming along with paddy. Necessary plans can be made for coconut cultivation and katha cultivation. At the same time, inter-cropping should be encouraged and the prosperity of the agricultural sector is the prosperity of Erumapetty grama panchayat. Susthira development is envisaged through watershed management schemes. The aim is to develop vegetables, cultivate millets, provide pumpsets for storage and machine for cutting grass.

It is necessary to take steps to increase animal husbandry and milk production. The Panchayat will decide the priority of the necessary schemes so that we can increase the production by increasing our cattle wealth and bird wealth by giving priority to goat farming, cow rearing and poultry, which will be beneficial to the people who lead a life of agriculture. The programmes are aimed at spreading fodder cultivation, production and distribution of milch animals and fodder. Our goal is to build a new hospital. The local economic development

Lack of a good industrial unit affects the development of the panchayat. We are committed to formulating plans that mark the beginning of a business venture. We have to give priority to projects that will use about thirty acres of land. Steps are being taken for it. Ten acres of land has been allotted from the panchayat's poramboke land for setting up the industrial park. The government has opened the panchayat land for industrial purposes.

Poverty reduction

Our goal is the complete development of basic facilities like housing, drinking water and full-fledged toilets. To get rid of leaky houses and those who are looking for land to build houses, a plan has to be prepared in connection with the Life Mission project. The construction of the building has begun.

Fully usable toilets need to be completed. S.C. The panchayat has chalked out a plan for the development of the village. The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) is the biggest poverty alleviation programme in the country. A large number of people are employed in this sector. It is proposed to spend 20% of the amount for LIFE Housing Scheme and one crore rupees for Housing Rehabilitation Scheme. Life Housing Scheme The Panchayat is committed to implement the government directives to buy land for the landless homeless and to build houses for the homeless who have land. Public transport and roads need to be improved. There are many roads in the panchayat but it is necessary to take a leap in the development of the panchayat by making the roads which are not yet tarred and not motorable fully. It is necessary to make Kundannoor Tharuthu training center fully equipped. Businesses need to start there. Rapid action should be taken to take steps to provide drinking water to those areas by providing pipeline extension in areas where drinking water does not reach. All the street lights are LED. The priority is to make it.

Education, Culture, Arts, Sports and Youth Welfare

There are two government primary schools, one government secondary school and one government inter college in the village. In addition, 27 Anganwadis are functioning well. For the poor anganwadis, a building has to be constructed and for an anganwadi, a place and a building have to be found. There are many talents in the field of art in the panchayat, but we should see the necessary schemes for their growth. The quality of education in our panchayat will be improved through the public education programme. We aim to build and activate modern classrooms. Scholarships for graduate students, laptops and learning aids for school students are some of the ideas that we put forward. There are plans for higher education. Women's development

Women's development

Women's self-employment training centers and self-sufficient start-ups for women's development need to be started. Therefore, it is necessary that we try to formulate and implement schemes on a group basis by involving Kudumbasree. Priority will be given to reorganize the vigilance committees for women's safety and work diligently. The Gender Resource Centre will be included in the Annual Plan. The concept of Kudumbashree Bank is proposed.

Tribal development

In the panchayat there are Twenty-seven S.C  sanctuaries, there are toilets in every house, but there is still a lack of sanitary latrines. There is a shortage of houses. In addition, complete street lines have been laid in all drinking water and electricity colonies.

Social justice

There are 27 Anganwadis in panchayat. However, only 26 Anganwadis have their own land and building. 1 Anganwadi has available space but the construction is nearing completion. A place needs to be found. All anganwadis have electricity connection and gas connection, but the infrastructure still needs to be improved. The construction and repair work of the compound wall has to be completed. Anganwadi Supplementary Nutrition is provided to 500 children. About one hundred and fifty pregnant women are being provided nutritious food through Anganwadi. Drinking water facility will be provided to 3 anganwadis. Buds Cool will start operating this year. Pension Adalat will be organised. Thus, the panchayat will be converted into a full-fledged pension panchayat. The panchayat is taking precautions to ensure that no pensioner is left out of the scheme.

Health

In the health sector, there is a community health centre, an ayurvedic hospital and a homeopathy hospital. There are also 4 sub-centers. Their services in the field of palliative care should be highlighted. There is a shortage of a vehicle for the comfort care of the palliative unit. The services of voluntary organisations are expected to address the issue. Our goal is to provide medical care. There is a need to transform the health sector by providing necessary medicines and equipment to the hospitals. We are also focusing on distribution of dialysis kits and conducting Lifestyle Diagnosis Camp and Cancer Diagnosis Camp as part of the comprehensive health programme. Yoga classes are conducted as part of AYUSH Wellness. The panchayat will make necessary arrangements for the same. We will start the work for which our goal is to declare Erumapetty Gram Panchayat as a complete Arogya Panchayat by conducting awareness on lifestyle diseases.

Drinking water and sanitation

Our goal is water security for all. We have to achieve the goal of 8 forests for all and drinking water for all. The project envisages providing drinking water and household drinking water connections in areas where drinking water is yet to reach. The well recharge is being implemented in conjunction with the Haritha Mission project. The completion of Guas Crematorium, slaughterhouse and waste treatment plant on panchayat basis will increase the pace of development works. Drainage construction and general well cleaning needs to be completed. My sense of responsibility for waste is to take action to involve people. Steps have been taken to ban plastic waste as per the instructions of the government.

General Administration and Finance

There is a need to develop the infrastructure of the panchayat and ensure the availability of services with accuracy. E. Our goal is to provide service at the fingertips as part of governance. We want to provide service at your fingertips. The front office system will be upgraded. We are planning to construct a new annex building for the panchayat office. We are working for the development of the entire panchayat. We are not governed by party politics. We have no caste and creed. Let us work towards the dream of development together with a single mind.
