👨👩👧 Social Welfare and Development
- Lead activities related to the welfare and development of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward sections of society.
- Formulate and supervise the implementation of schemes for the welfare of women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
- Review the implementation of social security pension schemes and beneficiary services.
- Coordinate and supervise activities related to poverty alleviation programmes.

- Promote programmes for women's empowerment and gender equality.
- Review the functioning of child welfare, child protection, and nutrition programmes.
